Effective October 1, 2022, the Federal governing body for Medicare: The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), now requires agencies that handle Medicare products to record all phone conversations and online enrollments and store them for ten years.
As a result, Perle & Co. has added a phone number reserved for our clients to call us to discuss anything about Medicare, whether it be for an initial interest or ongoing maintenance of an existing plan. This phone number will greet our clients with a new mandatory disclaimer in a digitized voice and then connect you to our office. The Disclaimer will read:
“We do not offer every plan available in your area. Currently we represent 10 organizations which offer 57 products in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE, or your local State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) to get information on all of your plan options..”
